Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and AMH best practices

Managing contractors on-site and maintaining documentation through CMMS

Supporting continuous improvement and world-class maintenance initiatives

Communicating effectively with both the engineering team and the customer operations team

You’ll be both hands-on and strategic, providing technical leadership and driving high standards while ensuring a safe, motivated, and high-performing engineering team.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a confident and approachable leader who combines strong technical ability with great communication skills.

Essential:

Relevant engineering qualification e.g NVQ, apprenticeship, HNC etc

Proven experience in engineering maintenance or automation environments

Background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance (ideally a 50/50 split)

Demonstrable leadership or supervisory experience

Understanding of conveyors, motor systems, PLC-controlled machinery, or similar

Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships with customers and teams

Health & Safety awareness (IOSH or NEBOSH qualification desirable)

Proficient with CMMS and Microsoft Office applications

Why You’ll Love Working with AMH

Competitive salary up to £52,000 + Bonus – OTE £55,000

Day-shift role with flexible start times (e.g. 8–4 or 9–5)

Career growth – internal promotions and UK-wide opportunities across multiple AMH sites

Comprehensive benefits package – including pension, sick pay, and death-in-service policy

Company laptop and mobile phone provided

Supportive team culture that values collaboration and mutual respect
