To help tell our exciting story, we are on the lookout for a Global Internal Communications Specialist.for a 12-month maternity cover contact. The role can be based anywhere in the UK and will be remote, with the occasional travel to our Redditch office in Worcestershire or in Europe.

As a Global Internal Communications Specialist in a dynamic team, you’ll be the at the forefront of delivering Swisslog’s Global Internal Communications & Engagement Strategy.

Your mission as a Swisslogger, is to connect, engage and inspire. You will partner with various senior stakeholders to communicate effectively with large groups of colleagues at a time of important change within the business.

In this role, you will explore exciting and innovative ways to inform our people, boost engagement and inspire advocacy across multiple engagement campaigns and projects.

Meaningful and effective internal communications are the heartbeat of our culture – and this role is pivotal in ensuring we connect with colleagues at the right time, enabling our people to thrive and connect stronger together with each other.

What you’ll be doing:

We are looking for someone who thrives on shaping and delivering bold and engaging colleague communications in a fast-paced environment. With a proven track record of using communications and engagement tools, tactics, and techniques, you will bring projects and campaigns to life with creativity, great planning and curiosity, both digitally and face-to-face.

This role will suit an internal communications professional who is looking for an opportunity to showcase their skills in a global setting in a high-achieving team, with high-colleague engagement.

Key responsibilities:

▪ Drive and deliver creative and engaging communication campaigns that support our strategic

goals and P&O led projects

▪ Produce professional written, visual and digital content across our internal communications

channels

▪ Help foster great conversations between leaders, managers and colleagues through our

internal communications channels

▪ Measure and report on the effectiveness of our communication activities and channels

▪ Ensure the successful delivery of business-as-usual communication activities.

▪ Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, actively developing interpersonal

skills, confidence and emotional intelligence to collaborate effectively with peers, senior

stakeholders, maintaining a network across the organization.

▪ You will work closely with Marketing and P&O, as well as with the KUKA Group

Communications Team.

▪ Use your advanced planning and organizational skills to anticipate stakeholder needs, plan

communications in advance and always think one step ahead to achieve the best results.

What you’ll need to have (our must haves)

▪ You’re an excellent writer and communicator with a strong command of English

▪ Have more than three years’ internal communications experience in a large complex

business

▪ You’re a creative storyteller with an eye for design and a flair for producing engaging wellcrafted

content and PowerPoint presentations.

▪ You are a pro at running Town Halls, creating engaging PowerPoint slides to tell the story

▪ You build strong relationships and collaborate well with peers and senior stakeholders

▪ You use data and business thinking to demonstrate the impact of your internal

communications work.

▪ You’re technically confident with SharePoint, LinkedIn, with solid knowledge of social media

and other digital tools

▪ Have experience in InDesign and video editing

▪ You’re calm under pressure, resilient and organized and able to work at a pace to meet

deadlines.

▪ You stay curious about the internal communications industry and seek our best practice and

inspiration from others

▪ You’re proactive, flexible and unphased by unexpected tasks or changing priorities

▪ Your work well both independently and as part of a cross-functional team

Most of all, you will be great at what you do, making things happen and making team spirit come alive, whilst breaking new ground, always aiming high - as you are doing what you love
