Our Client requires an experiencedMaintenance Engineer (ideally electrical bias), this is a permanent, full-time position working rotating shifts, Monday to Friday.Must have 18th Edition.

Salary: Competitive, discussed on first phone contact - monthly pay

Hours: Rotating shifts – Monday to Friday - 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm

Location: Hoo

Part of out of hours on call rota

Full-time, Permanent, Site based no remote working available

Maintenance Engineer required to perform reactive and planned maintenance on all production machinery, assist with improvements, control spare parts for machines and assist production when required.

Maintenance EngineerRequirements

  • Must have 18th Edition qualification.
  • Ideally completed engineering apprenticeship or similar with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Mitsubishi PLCs & HMIs.
  • Strong analytical, fault-finding, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of electric motors and pneumatics.
  • Basic mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgement.
  • Commitment to working within a safety-focused culture.

Maintenance Engineer desirable skills/experience

  • Experience with Fanuc Robotics Programming.
  • Experience with Fanuc CNC Programming.
  • Experience with ABB Robotics Programming.
  • Experience with Siemens PLCs & HMIs.
