About the Role

An established, family-run automotive specialist is seeking an experienced and skilled Vehicle Security Installer to join its growing team. This role involves travelling to customer locations across the Home Counties to install a range of locks such as deadlocks, slam locks, hook locks, etc.

The successful candidate will be highly organised, capable of working independently, and confident managing installations efficiently within set timeframes.

Key Responsibilities

Installation of van security locks (deadlocks, slam locks, hook locks, etc.)

Fitting of additional vehicle security products as required

Working independently at customer premises

Ensuring all installations meet company quality standards

Maintaining tools and stock levels within company vehicle

Providing professional customer service and product advice

Completing job documentation accurately

Requirements

Proven experience fitting van locks or similar vehicle security products

Strong mechanical aptitude and confidence using power tools

Ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently

Full UK driving licence

Good communication and customer service skills

High attention to detail

Experience with fleet installations

Auto-electrical knowledge

Experience working in a mobile fitting role
