A leading multinational manufacturing business is looking to recruit an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their growing team in Telford. As an Injection Moulding Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the efficient running of moulding machines, automation equipment, robots, and associated ancillary machinery within a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Condition setting and tool changing
  • Troubleshooting and resolving production and process issue
  • Carrying out preventative and basic maintenance activities
  • Supporting machine uptime and responding to breakdowns effectively
  • Working closely with the Maintenance Team to minimise downtime
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation

To be successful in the Injection Moulding Technician role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience within plastic injection moulding
  • Strong processing and fault-finding knowledge
  • Hands-on experience resolving moulding and production issues
  • Experience maintaining moulding machinery and automation equipment
  • Good attention to detail and documentation skills
  • A proactive approach and strong problem-solving ability
