An excellent opportunity has arisen with a UK owned leading food manufacturer, a growing and supportive organisation. The Company are extremely well established with over 20 years of manufacturing experience, and are looking to expand their engineering team once again due to increased growth in their market share.

The Role

With a minimum of a formal apprenticeship in electrical engineering the successful candidate will have experience working within planned and preventative maintenance schedules project based work within a highly automated environment, with a multi-skilled pedigree. On a day to day basis, you will be involved working with fast moving PLC controlled equipment, so previous experience is essential, including SCADA software analysis. You will be working on manufacturing machinery such as, pumps, ovens, mixers, conveyors, robotics and packaging machinery. The role also requires a proactive approach as you will take part in waste reduction initiatives on site. As part of the maintenance function, you will be actively encouraged to get involved with process improvement initiatives along with planned and preventative maintenance ensuring maximum output and the least amount of disruption to production. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary and the opportunity to progress technically with time.
