Title: Senior Software Engineer

Work Setup: Onsite

We’re working with a South Essex based company that focuses on Lab Automation Systems, they are growing rapidly and have recently opened a new office, and are looking for “rockstar” Senior Software Developer to come join their growing team.

You’ll work on a dynamic scheduler powering next-generation lab automation in the Life Science industry. Alongside software, bespoke devices and integrated systems that are deployed in labs worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and desktop applications with C#/.NET
  
  
• Work on performance-critical systems (concurrency, multithreading, and low-latency data flows
  
  
• Collaborate across disciplines to integrate software with hardware, robotics, and automation systems
  
  
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and input into architectural decisions
  
  Key Requirements
  
  
• Expertise in C# and the .NET, desktop + cloud environments
  
  
• Adaptability and a proactive, “can-do” attitude
  
  
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical mindset
  
  
• Experience or exposure to industrial automation, electromechanical systems, or hardware integration is desirable
  
  
• AI exposure or interest in applying AI techniques
