Join a World-Leading Robotics Business Supporting Film & TV Productions Worldwide

Our client designs and builds cutting-edge robotic camera systems used across live broadcasts, major feature films, and global productions. As their business continues to grow, they’re looking for a proactive and highly organised Shipping, Logistics & Operations Coordinator to join their operations team in Yate.

This is a varied and fast-moving role at the heart of the business, ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, staying organised under pressure, and keeping things moving behind the scenes. You’ll take ownership of UK and international shipping operations while also supporting the wider team with travel coordination and office administration.

The Shipping, Logistics & Operations Coordinator Role

You’ll be responsible for ensuring customer orders, internal equipment, and film crew logistics are coordinated smoothly and efficiently — often to tight deadlines and across international locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinating UK and international shipments, freight, and courier bookings
  • Preparing customs paperwork, commercial invoices, and carnet documentation
  • Managing shipping processes through the company’s MRP system
  • Tracking deliveries and resolving shipping or customs issues proactively
  • Communicating with customers, couriers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Booking hotels, taxis, and travel for film crews, sales teams, and events
  • Supporting the wider office team with administration, stock checks, and operational tasks during quieter periods

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and can switch confidently between logistics coordination, customer communication, and day-to-day operational support.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in shipping, logistics, freight coordination, or international dispatch
  • Good understanding of international shipping documentation and customs processes
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and respond calmly to last-minute changes
  • Confident communicating with customers, couriers, and suppliers
  • Comfortable using business systems — MRP/ERP experience is beneficial
  • A proactive team player who enjoys supporting a busy operational environment

Why Join?

  • Work within an exciting robotics and film technology business
  • Be part of projects supporting productions around the world
  • Join a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Gain exposure to manufacturing, robotics, logistics, and live production operations
  • Opportunity to grow within a fast-moving and innovative company

Benefits

  • 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Optional health insurance packages
  • Team days, cake & cuppa monthly meet ups
  • Off road parking
  • Bonus profit scheme
  • Annual pay reviews
  • Supportive team culture with genuine variety in the role
  • Opportunity to work within a creative, technology-driven industry

What’s Next?

If you’re someone who thrives on organisation, enjoys keeping operations running smoothly, and wants to work in a unique and fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.

The most efficient way to browse live robotics jobs is via specialist boards like RoboticsJobs.co.uk, which curate roles specifically in this field so you are not lost in generic tech listings. This guide covers everything you need to know about robotics jobs in the UK in 2026, from the roles and skills in demand to where to find live opportunities and how to stand out as a candidate.

Where to Advertise Robotics Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise robotics jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, university channels and community routes that reach robotics, SLAM and controls talent. The candidate pool spans mechanical engineers, software developers, controls specialists, computer vision researchers and systems integrators — a multidisciplinary mix that general job boards are poorly equipped to reach. The strongest robotics candidates are often embedded in research groups, defence programmes or advanced manufacturing environments, and move between roles through specialist networks and industry events rather than mainstream platforms. This guide, published by RoboticsJobs.co.uk, covers where to advertise robotics roles in the UK in 2026, how the main platforms compare, what employers should expect to pay, and what the data says about hiring across different role types.
