At Dexory, we’re building cutting-edge robotics and software that are transforming global logistics — and we’re looking for driven, hands-on individuals to be part of it.

We’re looking for a Sourcing Specialist who knows that great procurement isn’t about chasing the lowest price. It’s about building resilient supply networks, unlocking capacity, and turning suppliers into strategic partners. You’re not just sourcing parts—you’re shaping how products get made.

If you’ve ever looked at a production bottleneck and thought“this should be outsourced smarter”—this role is for you.

This role will require a minimum of 4 days per week onsite in Wallingford.

What You’ll Own

You’ll sit at the center of engineering, manufacturing, and supplier ecosystems—designing sourcing strategies that don’t just support production, but accelerate growth.

  • Build and execute sourcing strategies across direct materials and outsourced assemblies
  • Identify and onboard contract manufacturers who can actually scale with demand
  • Lead RFQs/RFPs that go beyond price—covering technical specs, BOMs, and real-world manufacturability
  • Assess supplier capability from the ground up: processes, quality systems, scalability
  • Negotiate smart deals—balancing cost, capacity, risk, and long-term value
  • Drive seamless handoffs from in-house to external manufacturing
  • Partner with engineering on NPI so supply is ready before demand hits
  • Make the call on make vs. buy—and back it with data
  • Continuously improve supplier performance across quality, delivery, and responsiveness
  • Build resilience into the supply chain: dual sourcing, risk mitigation, IP protection

What Makes You Effective Here

You understand that procurement in manufacturing is both technical and commercial—and you’re fluent in both.

  • 5+ years in sourcing/procurement within a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience with contract manufacturing or outsourced production
  • Comfortable reading technical drawings, BOMs, and specs
  • Strong grasp of TCO and make-vs-buy decisions
  • Confident negotiator who can structure deals beyond just unit price
  • Able to navigate complexity—multiple suppliers, stakeholders, and moving timelines

Bonus Points If You’ve…

  • Helped scale a supply chain in a high-growth environment
  • Worked with global suppliers and international logistics
  • Built outsourcing strategies from scratch

Benefits

Starting from the interview process and continuing into your career with us, you will be working by our four Operating Principles:

  • Performance: High standards, outstanding results,
  • Impact: Big challenges, bigger results
  • Commitment: All in, every time
  • One team: One mission, shared success

Joining our team and company isn't just about expertise; it's about embracing uncertainty with ambition. We're crafting world-changing solutions, fueled by a passion to redefine what's possible. We will look for you to help create and shape the future of logistics solutions through our products, our culture and our shared vision.

You will also receive:

  • Private healthcare via Bupa with 24/7 medical helpline
  • Life insurance
  • Income protection
  • Pension: 4+% employee with option to opt into salary exchange, 5% employer
  • Employee Assistance Programme - mental wellbeing, financial and legal advice/support
  • 25 holidays per year
  • Full meals onsite in Wallingford
  • Fun team events on and offsite, snacks of all kinds in the office

Where to Advertise Robotics Jobs in the UK (2026 Guide)

Where to advertise robotics jobs UK in 2026: the specialist boards, university channels and community routes that reach robotics, SLAM and controls talent. The candidate pool spans mechanical engineers, software developers, controls specialists, computer vision researchers and systems integrators — a multidisciplinary mix that general job boards are poorly equipped to reach. The strongest robotics candidates are often embedded in research groups, defence programmes or advanced manufacturing environments, and move between roles through specialist networks and industry events rather than mainstream platforms.
