Technical Network have been retained by a market leading intelligent automation and industrial  robotics manufacturer who are seeking a Business Development Manager to represent the companies after sales products and services and provides best in class support to customers.
Aftersales Support Manager (Robotics / Factory Automation)
£50–60000 salary + car + BUPA + excellent commission
Duties:
Working in coordination with Account Managers you will proactively seek out sales and growth opportunites supporting existing clients to ensure best customer experience based on robot uptime, efficiency and optimisation..
o Identify end user manufacturing customers to provide innovative robotic and factory automation systems, products and services.
o Identify business opportunities for new robots sales, upgrades, spare parts, service contracts, training or consultancy services
o Visit customers to maintain and update existing accounts and develop increasing robot and automation business
o Translate customer technical requirements into solutions
o Generate quotations and technical proposals that meet client requirements
o Visit customers post-delivery and commissioning to ensure successful sign off
Requirements:
The role requires an individual with both a driven personality and willingness to understand the technicalities of factory automation & industrial robotic solutions. You will already have a proven track record selling Industrial Automation products (industrial contollers/ sensors/ actuators etc), Industrial Robots, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), Automated Guided Vehivles (AGV) or similar products into the manufacturing sector.
o Demonstrate successful technical solutions sales career winning new business and growing existing clients accounts within the field of industrial automation/robotics/sensors
o Experience in managing projects, preferably in machinery or robotics with downstream automation of production processes
o Commercial ability relating to project costs and contracts, margins and sales pricing
o Qualifications to HNC/Degree level in an engineering discipline 
o Positive attitude with desire to take ownership of territory and grow market share
The opportunity:
Working from home with a high degree of autonomy to manage own diary, flexibilty to travel throughout the UK to meet with clients and visit based Head Office as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Technical Sales Engineer, Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or Account Manager to be part of an established business with a strong sales plan.
