Role & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct day-to-day farming operations, including tractor and forklift driving.

  • Crop walking with an agronomist to maintain high-quality standards.

  • Oversee irrigation and crop husbandry.

  • Procure necessary farming inputs.

  • Manage and motivate a small team for efficiency and productivity.

  • Assist the Farm Manager in planting, robotic weeding, harvesting, and packing seasonal crops.

  • Perform general farm work, maintenance, and seasonal planning between November and March.

  • Supervise machinery maintenance, labour management, and oversee crop production from planting to dispatch.

    Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in managing seasonal labour within the horticultural industry.

  • A keen interest in learning about different crops (training provided where necessary).

  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Practical hands-on approach with machinery and farm operations.
