About the Role

TCS Consulting is working with a specialist provider of automation and electrical solutions across industrial and commercial sectors. We’re looking for an experienced Automation Electrician to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of automation and control projects involving advanced technologies in a hands-on, technical role.

Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and fault-find on automation and electrical systems

Work with PLCs, SCADA systems, and motor control circuits

Integrate and support robotics, sensors, HMIs, and VFDs

Diagnose and resolve electrical and automation faults

Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Ensure all work is compliant with electrical codes and safety standards

Collaborate with engineers and technicians to improve system performance

Requirements

Qualified electrician with experience in automation and controls

Familiar with PLC systems (e.g. Siemens, Allen-Bradley)

Experience with HMI interfaces, VFDs, and industrial networks

Strong problem-solving skills and technical documentation literacy

Ability to work independently and as part of a wider engineering team

Full UK driving licence required
