    Mtrec recruitment are representing their bespoke services client in their search for an experienced Electromechanical Technician. The role will be focused on the assembly of complex mechanical and electronic equipment, for state-of-the-art machinery.     The Job you will do:

  • You will be responsible for the build and assembly of bespoke mechanical and electrical/ Electronic systems and components

  • Following a variety of work instructions, electrical and engineering schematics and drawings.

  • Performing in depth fault finding and implementing creative solutions on a variety of systems, sub systems and assemblies.

  • Assisting in the calibration of machinery, prior to the testing phase.

  • You will implement continuous improvement activity to ensue maximum efficiency of builds and output where possible.

  • Collaborating with cross departmental teams on bespoke engineering projects- R&D, Production Engineering, and planning.

    About you:

  • You will have experience of working within high value, engineering or production environments.

  • It is essential that you have strong skills in reading mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics to produce high quality products within the agreed timescales.

  • Ideally you will hold relevant qualifications in an electrical/ mechanical field.

  • You will have a proven track record of assembling complex mechanical and electrical products or components.

  • It would be advantageous if you were skilled in PLC fault finding and programming, but this is not essential.

  • It would also be desirable if you had experience of programming robotic equipment.

  • You will be resourceful, and inquisitive, with a strong desire to learn and develop.

  • You will be an expert communicator and skilled in collaborative working with cross functional teams
