Project Manager - RPA/Insurance

Location: Taunton
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time
Fully remote and Travel will be required every 2 months An exciting new permanent opportunity has become available for a Technical Project Manager who has had previous experience working on specific RPA projects and be the driving force behind the success of key projects across the Group.

This pivotal role supports vision by aligning projects with business goals, constructing detailed work plans, managing work groups, achieving milestones, and effectively communicating results across a stakeholder audience.

Day-to-day of the role:

Achieve individual objectives and key performance indicators as set and agreed.
Conduct thorough business analysis to understand and document current processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timelines, budgets, and project goals are met.
Support operational efficiency projects to streamline workflows and improve overall performance.
Prepare and manage budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements.
Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Collaborate with the Technical Delivery Team to identify technical requirements, manage development and test timelines within your project plan.
Plan and coordinate testing of new functionality and regression testing.
Assist in the development and implementation of training programs for end-users to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems.
Provide post-implementation support, monitoring systems to ensure stability and resolve any issues promptly.
Adhere to all Company, regulatory, and compliance guideline requirements.
Maintain technical competence with an in-depth knowledge of all relevant products, market trends, and insurer guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Proven experience in project management and business analysis, preferably within the insurance industry.
Dependable leader with proven experience in people management and the ability to work in a trusted environment.
Experience in leading operational efficiency projects that result in measurable improvements.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels of the organisation.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively.
Knowledge of broker software platforms e.g. OGI, SSP, Applied, Websure, Acturis
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Smartsheet, MS Project) is preferable.
Level 3 Qualification in a relevant field (Or QBE).
PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification is preferable.

Desirable Experience:

RPA (Robotic Process Automation) with UiPath and project involvement.
