Based in North Warwickshire, our client is a specialist engineering organisation known for deliveringinnovative automation, control and electrical solutions across a wide range of industries.
As Electrical Designer, you will play a key role throughout the full project lifecycle.
Responsibilities include:
Producing detailedelectrical schematics, cable drawings and connection schedules
Designingcontrol panels for manufacture (internal and external panel builders)
CreatingBOMs and selecting appropriate equipment and instrumentation
Conductingsite surveys for upgrades and system improvements
Developingelectrical drawing packs from existing installations
Producingtest documentation
Supportingpanel testing and commissioning
Assisting withfault-finding and continuous design improvements
Ensuring compliance with relevantindustry standards
You'll be involved in varied, technically interesting projects, often working closely with engineers from multiple disciplines to deliver robust, high-quality solutions.
The most desirable Electrical Designer application will:
Essential experience:
5+ years' experience inelectrical design (control panel design)
Strong background incontrol panel andcable installation design
Proficiency inAutoCAD, SEE Electrical, or similar
Experience producing fullelectrical drawing packs
Knowledge ofPLC / IPC systems and safety systems
Understanding of relevantelectrical standards
Desirable:
Up to £55,000 plus benefits and flexible workings
