Structural Engineer

We are currently working in partnership with a well-established, multidisciplinary design consultancy based in London that is looking to appoint a Structural Engineer as part of its continued growth.

Our client is a respected regional practice delivering geotechnical & structural engineering, building services and project management across a wide range of sectors. With a strong pipeline of secured work and a collaborative, technically focused culture, they offer an excellent environment for career progression.

The Role

You will be given genuine responsibility and exposure to projects from concept through to completion, working closely with in-house architects, civil engineers and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

Structural design in steel, reinforced concrete, timber and masonry

Producing calculations, drawings and technical reports

Coordinating with internal multidisciplinary teams

Attending client meetings and site visits

Supporting junior engineers (depending on level)

About You

We are keen to speak with Structural Engineers who have:

2–6+ years’ experience within a UK consultancy environment

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

Experience designing building structures

Strong working knowledge of Eurocodes and UK Building Regulations

Experience using software such as Tekla Structural Designer, Tedds, ETABS, Robot or similar

Ambition to achieve Chartership (ICE or IStructE), if not already chartered
