We are working on an opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy in their Hemel Hempstead office. This company have a strong reputation for delivering intelligent, innovative, and practical solutions across the built environment. They are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to take a leading role in a wide range of exciting and varied projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive structural engineering team, contributing to the delivery of commercial, residential, educational, and community developments. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in leading projects from concept through to completion, mentoring junior team members, and liaising with clients and stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality engineering solutions.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive engineer with strong technical capabilities and excellent communication skills. You’ll ideally be chartered or working towards chartership, with the ability to manage projects and lead by example within a fast-paced, quality-driven environment.

    What You Need To Succeed
  • Proven experience in structural engineering design across a variety of sectors.
  • Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in relevant software including Tekla, TEDDS, MasterSeries and/or Robot.
  • Strong understanding of British Standards and Eurocodes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team development.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a commitment to high-quality delivery.
  • Chartered, or working towards, membership of the IStructE or ICE.
  • MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
